Profiles & supporters

Every account on wflows gets a public profile at /{handle} the moment they pick a handle. The supporter mechanic adds optional perks on top of that.

The public profile

/{handle} shows everything the author has chosen to make public:

  • Handle, optional display name, bio
  • Avatar (uploaded or a deterministic initialed swatch)
  • Cover image (supporter perk; renders as a banner above the head)
  • External links: GitHub, website, X/Twitter
  • Founder + supporter marks where applicable
  • A pinned workflow rendered large at the top
  • The full grid of the author's published workflows, sortable by recent / most-installed and filterable by trigger kind
  • Aggregate stats: workflows count, total installs, member-since

Edit any of these from /settings. Drafts and private workflows aren't shown.

Supporter mechanic

wflows runs on a one-time supporter donation, not subscriptions or ads. Two tiers, both one-time:

  • Founding supporter — $29. First 100 paying supporters. Permanent founding mark on profile + workflow cards. Private Discord channel.
  • Supporter — $19. After the first 100. Same mark colors, no founding-double-arc, no private channel.

The founding count is checked at the moment of payment — if you're the 100th donor, you get founding. The 101st is regular-supporter, and the price drops to $19 for them onward.

What you get

Both tiers unlock:

  • Profile accent color picker — pick a custom color for your supporter mark; it shows on every workflow card you author and on /supporters next to your tile.
  • Cover image — banner above the profile head.
  • Public quote — one-line note that shows on /supporters next to your tile.
  • Discord roles — Supporter (and Founding Supporter for the first 100) get auto-granted on your Discord profile in the wflows server, contingent on you having linked Discord on /settings.

The founder mark

Distinct from "founding supporter." There's a separate founder mark for actual project founders — set manually, not Stripe-driven. It renders as a coral pill on the profile and a star next to the byline on workflow cards. Founders get all supporter perks regardless of whether they paid.

Linking Discord

Sign in to wflows however you originally did, then on /settings click Link Discord. The OAuth flow attaches your Discord identity to your wflows account. After that, any supporter / founder roles you're entitled to get auto-granted in the wflows Discord server.

If you sign in via Discord directly without first having a wflows account, you'll get a fresh wflows account tied to that Discord identity — that's expected. To link Discord to an existing GitHub-tied account, sign in via GitHub first, then link from settings.

Refunds + revocation

Refunds are honored case-by-case. Email hello@wflows.io with the Stripe payment intent ID. Refunding revokes the supporter mark but keeps the donation row in the historical record.

Account deletion (from /settings) clears your profile, your workflows, your sessions. Donation rows stay (anonymized to the public wall) — Stripe is the legal trail and we don't rewrite that.
